FFR guys

Which lokar throttle cable did you go with? Looking to change out my cable. I measured the current cable from pedal, following the curves to the carb and gor 48 inches. I looked up the 48 inch lokar cable and the housing is 48 inches but the cable is 60.

Reminder this is for a carb 302.

Mike, got the throttle cable from Autozone. Ford was a hundred bucks and paid 25 for the same cable. I am using mustang brake and throttle so may not work in your situation. I had no idea for part number so it was a 5 min search at the counter. I will look for old reciepts if you need the info.

I bought the 60" cable. It's very easy to cut it down to fit exactly the way you want it to.

Problem fixed.

I used a lokar 36"

Thanks Mike.

I thought the stock ford cable was binding up. It ended up being the pedal pivot point.

It's nice and smooth again. May change out to a Lokar cable this summer.

Mike
