Ahhh Karlos, who'da thunk it. Is it possible we could have been caught without an adult beverage to salute Gods arumminum chariots, say it ain't so.

Bob, Thanks for working on the rooms and it works for me. I will know for sure on Monday the 6th if I can come play or not. Jeff C

You guys can relax about the adult beverages. There are more liquor stores per capita in Utah then there are in Arizona. Only up there, they are state run. There are also a number of social clubs you can join, on a limited membership for a couple of bucks, that sell package goods.

I know the alcohol content in beer is watered down in Salt Lake City..I don't know about the rest of the state..

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 02-02-2012 05:28 PM

Target departure is 6am on Friday, Feb 17th. I will bring my libation. 3 of us will be packin. Should be fun if we don't kill each other.

Well, Jeff got the OK from his Dr. His surgery is 2 to 4 weeks away. We have 5 rooms reserved and the bus (Flex) is ready. Should be fun. Avoiding beans until then.
I understand the normal store bought beer in Utah is 3.2% and no alcohol is served after 1am. How am I going to stay busy?
Paul G is leaving Thursday. Is Bob McLinden going? Should we look for him?

You boys be careful and if you tie up with Paul, stay away from him on the freeway if there are trucks in the area. Don't cause any international incidents and don't hijack any of those good Mormon ladies.

mikiec 02-08-2012 11:22 AM

Don, was gonna pack, but it would be illegal for him to cross state lines.

Danr55 02-08-2012 02:18 PM

You can't tell me that he is underage. I don't believe that for a moment. Besides, you're not taking him for immoral reasons....are you?

mikiec 02-08-2012 02:36 PM

No,

He just cannot carry his new toy across state lines.

He also has not attended his first safety course.

Dress warm. Highs in the lower 40"s.

Karl Bebout 02-11-2012 01:07 PM

Don hasn't gone through a safety class, but is packin? We'll just hope a gas pedal, brake pedal, and automatic transmission is not involved.

mikiec 02-11-2012 01:55 PM

Yeah, Some of us..rather all of us are not happy with that. We have seen him at the range. Let's just say he needs a safety course.

I saw on sunday in the Salt Lake,Provo area heavy snow, drive careful.

mikiec 02-15-2012 07:07 AM

Hopefully we will beat the snow. We will be heading back at 6am Sunday.

vettestr 02-15-2012 07:25 AM

Hey Gang,
Provo temps are a little nipply for us It's a Dry Heat types. First check shows Provo Fri- 43/26 mostly sunny, Sat- 48/28 most cloudy, Sun- 35/20 again mostly cloudy, and snow on Mon. Salt Lake 45/30, 49/25and Sun- 35/24 with Monday a 30% chance of snow. That info is The Weather Channel -pick any other for a different opinion 6 to 10 Day Extended Weather Forecast for Salt Lake City - weather.com

Danr55 02-15-2012 09:45 AM

You may beat the snow, but I bet you don't beat the cold! I lived in Orem for a while. The country and the ladies were wonderful, but the weather was terrible. Take your warmies and keep the wind out of anywhere you don't want frozen!..

Car Nut 02-16-2012 09:35 AM

Saw on the news this morning that I40 was closed between Seligman and Kingman due to snow and ice.

Danr55 02-16-2012 12:45 PM

Well, maybe they have to go via St. George/Hurricane/Kanab/Fredonia/Jacob's Lake/Flagstaff coming home.. or they could just sit on the bridge until Mikie got over it or the snow stopped, whichever comes first!

mikiec 02-16-2012 04:34 PM

I-40 reopened at noon today. Just checked.
