The Station (John Panfil's) restautant opens in New River
Hello All,
The Station (John Panfil's) restaurant opens. This is in New River just North of Anthem. 46202 N. Black Canyon Hwy, New River, AZ 85087. 623-465-7290. He is serving some of the best quality food in the industry. Creekstone all natural burgers and steaks, Redbird all natural chicken, White Marble Farms all natural pork chops and ribs, Alaskan sustainable fish, and regionally grown produce. Great little drive North on I-17 for a Cobra to check out. |
Thanks Tim. I'll have to make a run up there. You can see it right next to I-17 but must get off at New River and back track south. New River Station.

John ripped me of for a cool $10,000 grand on my SPF build, ill have to take a ride out there and see his face when I show up, in my book he is one of the biggest piece of s---s in any business. And I got off easy I know of a couple other guys who lost even more. Its nice to see our money went to his next adventure. ($1800 for an intake I never recieved, $3200 for a used transmission when he told me it was new, never got my soft top or toneau cover that comes with all spf cobras, along with the labor I had to pay to have another shop finish my build when he was already paid in full)

THat's the John we all knew. I was just thinking that perhaps we should be sure we got our checks before we ate our meals. That way he couldn't raise the price on us mid bite!
|
So has anyone been up to see him yet?
|
Based on the above reports, I won't dine there regardless of how good the food might be.
|
I'll get up there as soon as I can afford the gas. I'm workin on it.

I would have to agree with Mike B.
Why in the world would I go to the guys business, after ripping off one of our members that badly? Ralph |

Mikie and I had lunch today at "The Station" in New River. John's new restaurant. A cowboy bar and grill. Looks like lots of updating and cleanup has been done to it. We both had the basic cheeseburger and fries. The Angus meat was good. John says his wife Tatia and his 2 kids are working there also. Been open for 3 weeks and business is good but not overwhelming. John says he is averaging 400 to 600 patrons per day. Has outdoor seating, a stage for bands and TV's for sporting events.
Al together we were welcomed with open arms and John even picked up the tab. AZ Bob |
I must be missing something!

A hamburger and fries appparently.
|
The burger and fries were good. I had promised John way back, that when he opened the place I would visit.
