Well, it wasn't the largest turn out we've ever had, but it was a great ride anyway. We decided to do Punkin Center rather than Payson because it was really windy up there. Look at what we found to go with us.
Who's the little guy, second from the left? Or is he not so little, just standing next to a giant?
Karl, You need glasses.. or a class in biology. Look very close. That little guy is built different than the giants she is standing in the middle of.
Karl,
That would be the guy that Dan is getting hitched to **)**) |
Great ride up to Punkin Center for breakfast. My little brother and his Pantera were excited to travel with the big boys.
I have friends in the Chevette club who are sponsoring another run on April 14. They are going for breakfast. A couple of ZO-6's and they have invited us to go along. I think it would be nice if we invited the Pantera's to come along. Cobra's, Pantera's and Corvettes. Should be quite a show.
Oh, and I just talked with Charlie427. He was going to join us, but didn't tell anyone. As a result, he was 10 minutes late in arriving at the shell station and didn't know we'd changed to Punkin Center. So, he went to Rim View and found out it was closed. So.. said he almost got blown off the road. (we made a good choice). In any event, if you're interested in the run on the 14th, say something and I'll get the details and post them. |
Count me in. I'll ask my brother to get ahold of the Pantera club and also my son, who is less fortunate and owns a vette, to join the run.
Where is this run going? I'de like to make it.
I believe the intended destination is Pine. Charlie went there yesterday and says that RimView Cafe isn't open. So the destination mightmay change. Worst it can be is 260 Cafe though..
The 260 Cafe is currently under new management and I'm told that the Prime rib omelet is great. That has been chosen as the official alternate destination if Rimside grill proves to be closed or unavailable. Meeting place will likely be the Shell station on Shea BLVD. as usual. Time to be determined. I will post as soon as I know.
So where is the 260 Cafe?
260 Cafe is on Rt. 260 in Payson, just east of the main intersection.
Count us in, we have to get in as many runs as possible before heading to Idaho for the summer. Just let us know the time. Thanks!
Greg, I'm not the one calling the shots, but I bet meeting at 0730 hrs. and leaving at 0800 hrs.
As long as we know where we are going..... We can be fashionably late.
Time to start a new thread on the April 14th Run
I, too, am interested. AZ Bob |
