Veterans Day

Not only is this thread a reminder of November 12th, Veterans Day but also to remind us that the Golden Corral Buffet Restaurant is extending a free buffet on that day for all persons who served the military. Effective hours are 1600 to 2100, Monday the 12th. There are at least three in the Phoenix area I know about. The one in Avondale is closest to me. You might check on the others to make sure they have the same offer. Don't forget to fly your flags. Thanks for everyones' service...

For those Vets in the Southern California area, The Battleship Iowa is having a Saturday event and Vets will be welcomed aboard free of charge. Google the Iowa or San Pedro events for details............As Varmit has said, thanks to all my fellow vets and those that serve today !!!

"Air" what?

We are going to Dave's BBQ this sunday at noon for the "free lunch". It's located at 202 and Dobson, near the Bass Pro.

"Go AIR FORCE"? Go where?

mikiec 11-08-2012 06:12 PM

I guess I'm stuck. Can't go to Daves, don't like the food. Won't go to Golden Corral, don't like that place. I guess I'll go for a drive.

Listen, without the "Air Farce" many of you wounded Vets might never have gotten home! :(

Listen, I was just jealous of your barracks and pretty uniforms! You "Dustys" were always appreciated...no matter what conflict/war.
Let's remember all concerned
