Caster Sleeves for FFR
A while ago I inquired about my twitchy power steering and was advised to up my caster settings from 3 deg to 6-8 deg. My adjustment arms on the upper control arms would not safely allow this much movement without exposing too much thread.
Several people advised me to get longer sleeves for the adjustment bars. I ordered the wrong size sleeves (small I.D.) and need to buy larger I.D. ones. Unfortunately I have lost the original thread to this discussion which advised the company(s) to buy them. I checked with JEGS, Summit and Speedway but no joy there. Suggestions? Thanks, Bill |
Try SPC Performance.

I got mine from Speedway and they worked fine on my FFR.
Will any of these work? A Arm Sleeve - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop Here is a thread that might help. http://www.ffcars.com/forums/17-fact...r-warning.html and another http://www.ffcars.com/forums/17-fact...h-threads.html Good luck! |
As Hank said, you can get them from Specialty products. You can buy complete new arms if/when you need them. Those racing style bushings do wear out fairly quickly.
