Mikie, There is a Paradise Bakery, The Habit Burger Grill, In and Out Burger, Sandbar Mexican Grill, and Z tejas Grill all within about a mile of the freeway on Ray Road east of the Freeway and a Five Guys west of the Fwy. There are lots of places to eat on Ray Road.

Hotrods Old Vail is a restaurant, bar, speedshop, and show facility dedicated to car and motorcycle enthusiasts. It's located on Old Vail Road just south of Tucson. It opened back in July and regularly hosts cruise-ins and shows. I'd say it's a fun place to visit & dine if you're passing through Tucson, but not a destination in itself unless you'll be attending a scheduled show or club event. Unfortunately, the events calendar on its website is not currently updated. For a couple of reviews visit: |
Mike, There are a couple of sandwich shops off of Chandler Blvd north of Firebird. Cappriottis and Jersy Mikes, one of those is the place you are thinking about.

Mikiec, be good for you to get out of South Flagstaff once in a while. If you would take your Cobra out today, the rain could wash off a few years' road grime.
