Huntington Beach Cruise in and Autocross

Factory Five has announced their schedule for the H.B. show on Saturday and sunday, April 27 and 28, 2013

Saturday: Cruise in on the H.B. Pier and on Main Street. Registration on site opens at 9am, judging 10:30, show ends 4pm. Two live bands, one on main street and the other on the pier.

Sunday: Auto cross in riverside, 2 to 6pm. $50@ or $99 for both? More information can be found on Factoryfiveracing.com, calendar schedule.

Another option for Sunday AM is a cruise up PCH to Long Beach and take a ferry to Santa Catalina (26 miles across the sea, Santa Catalina is waitin' for me). Yes, that one.

The AZ schedule will be to leave early Friday, April 26 and drive through Yuma to San Diego to meet for lunch with the San Diego Cobra Chapter at Ocean Side, CA. After lunch drive up PCH to Huntington for over night. Attend H.B. show on Saturday. Sunday, April 28 go to Catalina or go to breakfast or go to Riverside after breakfast for museum tour and autocross. From Riverside, leave on or about 6pm and return home by 11pm. Sunday is a casual day so join in on any or all or just get up and drive back to AZ.

NOTE: This year FFR is opening up the show to all Cobra factories. However, there is a limited number of spaces available for non-FFR cars, So register early.

There has yet to be a "bad weather day" in the last 5 years I have attended. Usual weather is "dream weather" and attended by casual or intended attendees in the thousands. I estimate 10,000 people there last year.

If you haven't been to this event I urge you to attend. It is really a great ever and the largest FFR event on the USWC.

Lots of time for planning so let me know if you are interested.

I just registered for Main Street parking.

Don't want to be the only non-FFR cobra there. Although I would win best non-FFR in show.

Look forward to lunch with you Zonis on Friday if you're going through San Diego again.

Good deal Jim. We plan to meet you at the same spot in Ocean Side again. See if you can rally the troops. Hopefully we'll a few more cars/people from AZ this year. Right now it looks like about 7 or 8 people. You're right, with your Superformance you could win best "non-FFR award". Our girls will be up for shopping and lunch if your bride wants to join them.
