Slow Response
Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing slow web response on Club Cobra?
All other sites are quick compared to this. My new IMAC is not the cause.

Mike, It goes through phases. Must be time to restart the servers.

yep
since last summer. part of my problem is AOL and CC server.
I bought a new computer yesterday, so I'll see if it gets any better.

Lately for me it has been much worse than before. Could be that we have so much data archieved that we are going to need to put a turbo-charger on our server? :)

I've got a Mac also, and ClubCobra is the only slow sight I visit.:(

yep...slow to open a thread, the site itself loads quickly, but all the BS added to the site tracking you, is the bottleneck.

You guys are more techey than I am! I still haven't figured out how to delete my apple iPhone or iPad archive messages?%/%/:rolleyes: or where the hel.... They even go to view them

Lately I've had several times when it has taken MINUTES to load the site, and then sometimes it just times out and won't load at all. I've also noticed slow paging as well.

I guess it's fixed. Loads in a few seconds. Somehow I think the VC bandit had something to do with it.

Slow loading
Don't forget there is a load of shi...coming thru with every thing you access, including a ton of viruses. You can try an anti-virus program like Stop Zilla and you might make it better. My computer is about 7 yrs old and is about maxed out with data even after cleaning it up. Time for a new one. I think I'll have one built for me next time. (It depends how much compared to what's for sale out there when I'm ready).
Factory Five need to check their site and see what's attached to it. Could be the source of the problem.
