I charged it up and the original owner did not have his info in it. "No Name" came up where he was supposed to log it in. This morning, my friend at Dog Beach found a GoPro 2 Silver Edition. Unbelievable ! Probably 2 buds were filming each other, and they wiped out ! Anytime we put something worth saving on the life guard station, we find it in the sand the next day. It's not going to the life guards. I've got the guys pic on it. If I see him, he'll get it back. If not :D:D

Up here,N.B. Canada if you turn it in to the local police and sign for it the owner have a set amount of time to ask about it and claim it,if not claimed you get a call and you can go pick it up...maybe just me but I would try harder to find the real owner...I'd want it returned!

Why not just post a sign on a stick on the beach where you found it/them? I'm sure you would get plenty of calls, but if you have the dude's pic that should be easy.
