Same size mufflers as alway but bigger primary header tubes and some more cam may be making a little more power. It could happen.

mikiec 12-18-2013 06:39 AM

Gee, all this just to keep up with the FORD guys.

mikiec 12-18-2013 06:41 AM

Interesting about the eatery. They were open last year on the 1st.

Mike

Danr55 12-18-2013 07:03 AM

As I recall, they were not only open, but they were packed.. to the gunnels. Not hardly room to turn around.

Fitz 12-18-2013 09:59 AM

We could drive up jan 2nd instead? Or New Years Eve? Or most of us working, hung over or still sitting in front of a computer trying to figure our Obama Care for others....:rolleyes:%/:eek:%/:confused::confused:

Fast289 12-18-2013 12:19 PM

2nd works for me, hang over and all. That is if I have Carmen back. I saw her today, looks like she is ready to be started for the first time.

Dave from Chandler

BTW, I first heard then saw a silver cobra yesterday traveling West on Queen Creek between Arizona Ave and Alma School Ave. Sure sounded good, didn't get a real good look at it.

mikiec 12-18-2013 01:49 PM

Working on the 2nd. I'm going on the first, rain, sleet, snow nor gloom of night etc..
The rest of you retirees can go on the 2nd.

Mike

Danr55 12-18-2013 02:36 PM

I'm with Mikie.. Jan 1 is it for me. It's tradition.. I've already broken one this year. One is all you're allowed.

Fast289 12-18-2013 04:39 PM

You would be in the New Year, so technically, you have one to break.

Just sayin!

Dave from Chandler

mikiec 12-18-2013 05:38 PM

He's done breaking them.

Every year he will be reminded of his transgression. LOL

Fitz 12-18-2013 05:45 PM

I thought it has been broken for long time:LOL::):D;):3DSMILE:

December 7, a date that will live.. at least around our house...

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 12-18-2013 11:22 PM

Dan broke his Transgression? That sound painful. We run on January 1st for tradition. And... all you guys young enough to work can join us old farts. If you can keep up. I would have to say Bill with his stroked Cleveland and Paul with his blown 5.0 have been the fastest I have seen up the hill. Assuming no DPS lookouts.

AZ Bob

Fast289 12-19-2013 06:18 AM

The Hill, sounds like a challenge? What is this hill you speak of? Does the winner get a trophy?

Of course, if I don't have Carmen, I doubt my pick up has a chance?

Dave from Chandler

Danr55 12-19-2013 12:30 PM

Dave, Have youy never been up Yarnell Hill? Go to You Tube and google Yarnell Hill and AZ Cobras. You' ll see some footage from a couple of years ago.

Here ya go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s11q7YYslW0

Fast289 12-19-2013 01:43 PM

Thanks for the link, I have never been to the hill, my ankle bracelet buzz's when I leave Maricopa County!

mikiec 12-19-2013 04:43 PM

I'll have the GoPro mounted on the slow car.

mikiec 12-19-2013 04:45 PM

Buzzing is fine. It's the shock that gets you.

Now get your butt out there in the FFR.

Mike

Fast289 12-19-2013 07:11 PM

You have no idea how badly I want to get out and drive with you all. I know the FFR has been started and brakes are on, the rear has been widened and G. Levy is setting her up. I hope to have her any day now.

I also picked up a go pro, I can't wait to get some video.

If you will excuse me, I am trying to explain, but more so take the shock of the face of my beautiful girlfriend as we watch a curling match.

Dave
