Casa Grande, AZ. need a restaurant recommendation.
Hey you Cobra owners in Casa Grande. I am looking for a "mom and pop " restaurant in the Casa Grande area for breakfast on Wednesday, Jan. 22nd. There will be about eight of us coming from Tucson and heading for the Dwarf Car Museum. What can you recommend ???

Try the "Itsy Bitsy, Teeny Weenie, Yellow Pokka Dot, Micro Plate Diner" on Short Street. It should be just right for your gaggle of height-challenged folks going to the Dwarf Car Museum.

You'll love the museum and his shop!
That Karl, he's so short-sighted!
John, I'll be leaving for a car show in Casa Grand this morning, I'll keep my eye out for a place. You will probably take 84 through Stanfield to Ernie's place, otherwise there there is a Restaurant where Ernie (Mr. Dwarf Car) eats every morning with a few other rodders, called Headquarters, near the intersection of 347 and the Casa Grand - Maricopa Hwy. in Maricopa. It's about 20 miles out of your way, however.%/ Headquarters Cafe - Maricopa, AZ Or here is a long list of restaurants in CG: Restaurants San Francisco find_loc=Stanfield%2C+AZ#l=p:AZ:Casa_Grande:: What time are you planning to be at the the museum? A group of us ate at Amy's Mexican Restaurant today, North end of Casa Grande and it was very tasty. Nice place and nice people, too. Pretty sure they have short chairs and tables, for dwarf racers.

I thought racing dwarves was illegal in Arizona. Like fighting chickens and harassing illegals..

And Ernie and his buddy started building dwarf race cars way back when it was still politically correct to mess with dwarfs. He's the most talented metal fabricator I have EVER seen! He's my idol!:3DSMILE: Check it out: www.dwarfcarpromotions.com Ralph:MECOOL: |

Ralphie, I realize that you are verticaly challenged a bit, but you still tower over SOME folks. That being said, I'm glad to hear that you have some admirationf for anything "dwarf". (which, by the way, is the only word that comes to mind that sorta rhymes with BARF)

Final update on our trip to Phoenix. We will be at the Big House Café in Casa Grande from 9:15 until 10:15 am for breakfast. From there to the Dwarf Car Museum arriving at 10:50am. Leave there at 11:25 for the Bondurant Racing facility in Chandler, arriving at 12:05pm. Leaving at 1:05 pm for lunch at the place on Ray Rd. and we expect to arrive at the "Hall of Flame" at 2:15 pm. We'll plan 1:00 hr there and then on to Squeeg's Hot Rod facilities at 341 E. Alamo Dr. in Chandler. After visiting with them it be a 1:35 drive back to dinner at a "locals" restaurant ( cowboy bar) in the Catalina area.

At least SOME folks haven't outgrown their hair! and don't give me that old.."the more hair I lose the more head I get" routine. Ain't goin' for it!

I've just always had better things to do with my Whore Mones than grow hair!

Takes a hell of a man to make a hormone..

Is Dwarf bowling OK?

The "Big House Café" in Casa Grande was very good. I'd called ahead and made reservations and the table was waiting as we walked in. The service was excellent and the food good at moderate prices. We will return.
