New Member in New Mexico

Hi, I just joined and am wondering what group would be best for me to join, since New Mexico doesn't appear to have any Cobra groups. This group seems pretty active, so I would like to find out more. It will probably be a year or so before I get my new Cobra, so I have lots of time. Thanks!

Welcome!
Where in New Mexico?
El Paso has some active members in the TCC (Texas Cobra Club).

I'm north of Santa Fe, in the high mountains. I had not thought about El Paso, but it is about 350 miles from me, that would be another option. Nothing very close to me anyway.

Start your own. That's what Mikie did in the year 2001. He pulled me over to talk and the rest is history. We gathered names for about 6 months then had our first gathering in Tempe at Gordon Levy's shop on the first Saturday of December. Had 36 cobras show up.

I guess that is a possibility, but I wouldn't know where to start to find people who own Cobras in NM. I've only seen a few, maybe 2 or 3, around here.

Well, it's over 500 miles to Tucson but you sure are welcome to come out here and meet everyone. We are always looking for new victims!

Bob Cowan is in Colorado Springs, I think there is a club there, but that's probably a couple hundred miles away too. I'd think there should be a few in Albuqerque, that's probably closest. Maybe if there is they'll chime in.

Thanks, maybe I will post a general one about Cobras in NM.

Actually I had no idea where to start. I used as many of the cobra forums as I could find to get this thing rolling. Pulled people over, whatever I could do. The rest they say is History.

Mike

Thanks, that may be a way to go.
