NASA Event
I signed up for this event in March 15 at Wild Horse Pass east. Not sure if there are any openings.
I had to get the seats modified so the 5th strap would connect. Lee |
I will be at the event too, getting my belts replaced as I type!

You guys ENJOY.
|
Might come watch if I am not working- you will like it.
|
The more the merrier! I am taking a trailer and an easy up, I will be flying an American Flag off the trailer also, the trailer says Calgon Carbon all over it. Should be easy to find. Lee and I will be setting up camp together.
Cheers Dave |
What time are you planning to get there?
I will PM you my phone number. Lee |
Well, the NASA event is in the books. It was fun running with Lee, however, we were always on the opposite side of the track. Pete stopped by on Sunday with his Backdraft, a beautiful car!
It was such a fun weekend until my Sunday came to an abrupt end. I cut my right rear tire entering turn one above the speed limit, never knew how good Cobras are going off road! Special thanks to Gordon for building a stout engine and suspension for me. Also for some driving tips. Dave from Chandler |
I had so much fun at this event I signed up for another one on April 5 at Wild Horse Pass West.

Glad you guys had a good time at "East Track". It is a great track. I hope on April 5 you have as much fun. I personally like "West Track" better. My carand I seem towork better together there. I'd like to be at that event but I get to go to Chinle for 3 weeks to install @ 2000 lf of pipeline. ButI'll be wishing I was at the track with you. Have fun!

We are on the a west track April 5th and 6th. I am going to sign up for Sunday the 6th.
It was a lot of fun at the last event. I really don't know whats better, driving on race tracks or driving the cobra in the central coast region tasting wine with my hot girlfriend. I don't think she reads this..... Dave from Chandler |
That would be pretty scary driving the most awesome Cobra in the world with a little wine....Let's see what she can do!!!!!!!!!
|
The key is drinking a little wine before going on the track! Just kidding. The only problem with wine country is traffic, not as easy to pass with CHP lurking at every corner and what seems to be a parade of Prius or other electric tree hugging vehicles scowling at me as I smile at them.
Really good wine though and I tried to steal some red oak from Hitching Post, but they caught me, However they gave me a free desert for the effort. Dave from Chandler |
