Volvo 200D
Anybody know what size this engine is and what confirmed make from 1981. I am pretty sure it is a Chevy and I think it is a 305 block not 350. Someone wanted to rebuild and I told them it nah be cheaper to buy crate engine or v6 to replace.
Any takers?

volvo had several motor variations ranging from 1.74 liter to a 2.8 liter V6 and two diesels at 2.6 and 2.8 liters. Post a picture and we'll try to decipher what you're getting tied up with.

Fitz, do you have a photobucket account? I upload my chosen photo to my photobucket account, left click on the photo then in your far right you have several Links to share this photo. Choose the HTML and left click on it. Your photo is now on your clipboard. When you post here just use "Ctrl and V" (which is paste) at the same time and it will post where you want it in the size of your original.
