Friday or Saturday night car show

Any Phoenix area Friday or Saturday night car shows going on now that the Cobras attend?
I know we use to do 83rd but that's long gone.
I've been to 67th & Bell but never see any Cobras.

Or is it a secret club?

Dan, 83rd is not long gone. We still meet there every Saturday night with rare exception for out of town trips, special occasions or rain. 83rd Ave and Lake Pleasant Pkwy. Next to Ramiro's. Gathering starts about 4pm. We had about 20 cars last Saturday including several cobras.

Thanks for the update Bob.
I must say 67th just doesn't feel right for a car show for some reason.

Mikie has poisoned your brain. He strenously objects to the lady that runs that show just because she tried to screw the guys at 82nd., called in phoney cops, tried to get them thrown out and various and sundry other objectionable acts. Imagine.. our Mikie taking offense?

There is also Pavillions where you will find various and other Cobras on any particular Saturday night.

I still think we should mount an all out offensive on Scottsdale and show up one night en masse.

Dan, another big reason we have remained at the 83rd Ave & Lake Pleasant Pkwy location is there are 5 different places to eat there. All walking distance. We have the Sports Bar, Panda, Ramiros, Sardellas and Blimpie. Plus we park right next to Ramiros for restroom and discount food and drink reasons.

If you like Ferrari's and other high end cars there is a very early morning show at Gainey Village shops (N Scottsdale Rd & E Doubletree Ranch Rd) the 1st Saturday of every month. It features and is put on by Scuderia Ferrari. If you don't get there well before 7am you will be relegated to the fringe of the parking area for parking. Nice to see some really expensive cars and cars that you don't usually see at the other shows if you don't mind getting up early on Saturday. There are usually a few Cobra's that show up. Coffee and pastries to be had at the local Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf coffee shop.

I plan on being there this Saturday but 4 pm and 108 degrees may cause me to be late.
What time do you all stick around till?

Dan,

Some of us will not get there until later because of the heat this Saturday. probably around 5:30 to 6pm. I and a few others usually stay until 9 ish.

Car shows/Get togethers

I remember that on Friday evenings around 1800 there was group meet around the 101 and I-17, south side in the shopping center near some restaurant. Not sure if it still happens. Will check around and see what I can find out. Ciao

On Saturday 6/14 there is a car show in Prescott. Any of you interested in joining me on this little trek? I am thinking of leaving early Saturday morning and remaining in Prescott till after dinner before returning to the valley. I would also be open to going up Friday evening.
