Looking for previous owner

2 Attachment(s)
I have purchased a cobra kit car that is previously wrecked and will begin working on it this weekend but am looking for some information on the car and to see if the previous owner has any extra parts. I have attached pictures of it but if for some reason they do not load. It is a copper sunburst 1967 kit manufactured by North American Fiberglass out of Tempe AZ. It has cocoa interior and chevy big block drive train

That car is haunted!

Not the car, the OWNER.

The motor is backward. I know some people who have worked on that car endlessly.

Now, just because I'm old, bald, and overweight, doesn't mean I can't still have my fantacies. One dire trueism is that "the older I get, the faster I was" and one day maybe my 10.7 second quarter mile in the pimp-ho-gold Cobra will get down to the 9's.

I'd be very afraid if the radio starts playing all by itself.

Not much of a worry, until "the voices tell me its time to clean my guns".

well the motor is back to running again now just to get the parts and go to the body shop

mikiec 11-10-2014 05:36 PM

If you need help there is a list of guys that work for free, that know that car well.

Information is great and finding people that work on these and share knowledge is even better. I could really use info on what kind of suspension these cars run as it will need a bit of work on the passenger side suspension and where to get parts like the headlight housing and trim. I would also like to find the type of oil that it had and fuel it normally ran just to make sure I don't damage that motor as it sounds like he had a lot of time money and im sure a few cus words stuck into it. Im not gonna lie I am pretty excited to have it. The car will prob remain in vegas and I will use it when I go there to visit my brothers as it is not nice enough year round to have it up here. My one brother is trying to make me paint it blue/white to match his 08 Carol Shelby Mustang. I like the color so it is gonna stay that way

Up here in North Dakota you cant find anyone to work on old cars. We got about 6 different cars that need to have body work done on them. If a guy came here and just did bodywork on old cars he would have his schedule full for the rest of his life.
