January Car Events
 

Just a list of Car Enthusiast events for January and February. I will be attending as many as I can.

Dec 29th to Jan 6th: AZ International Auto Show at Civic Plaza. I will go on new years day.

Jan. 4th to 6th Scottsdale Classic Auto Auction and Car Show at Sunspree Resort 7601 E Indian Bend. Went last year at Rawhide. It was only $7 entry. Cheap! Great mid-price auction and car show. I will go most likely on Sat, Jan 5th.

Jan 11 to 13 Kruse Auction at Rawhide. Went Last year at Paradise Racetrack. I think was $10. Great low-price auction. Can't attend

Jan 11 to 14 Silver Auction Fountain Hills. Didn't go last year. Won't be going this year.

Jan 16 to 20th. The Big One: Barrett Jackson. The best one! High price cars. Best place to sell a car. Westworld Scottsdale. I will go on 16th and 20th.

Jan 19th. Best Cruise of year at Pavillions. Last year 850 cars. Must get there by 1pm. Biggest turn out of year for cobras also.

Jan 17 to 19. Russo and Steele Auction. Didn't go last year. They wanted $50 to walk in door. Ditto this year.

Jan 18 to 20th. World of Wheels at Civic Plaza. Will attend on Friday night the 18th. Don't want to register car then sit all weekend and miss Barrett Jackson and Sat Cruise. I think $15.

For February So Far:

Feb 2nd Winter Hear Car Show at PIR. Went last year. Great selection of cars. Let you parade on track and free NASCAR tickets. $20

Feb 23rd Fan Fest 2002 at Peoria Sports Complex. Rained out last year. $15 in advance.

Feb 21 to 24 NHRA at Firebird. Never Miss! I always go on Sunday. Last year $43 for decent tickets. Buy ahead.

if you sign up as a bidder, free entrance, free dinner each night. Their Monterey auction was
excellent, Vic Edelbrock bid over $300k for a TransAm Mustang which was high bid.
These guys spli from Barrett Jackson.

Don't forget RM Auction at the Biltmore, they will have many cars scheduled for the 9-22
New Yorfk auction they cancelled. Should be great.

Your guys in Arizona have a great month of activites. So much fog in Fresno, I can't find my garage.**)
