I am running my second set of the AVONs. The first set I replaced at 3/32s after maybe 15,000 miles. Wear was perfect and there was no sidewall deterioration. Actually all four were at 3/32s. I would not hesitate to try the MT's but the AVONs are still available and I have been quite happy with them. The second set has been just as good as the first and perhaps even smoother.
