Dan,
If you need seat time organize a run. New blood can bring new drives.
If no one is available, just jump in and go.

Tucson
I believe we are working on a run to Tucson soon. See if Bob B has current details on the plan. I think it will be overnight.

Tucson Trip
I guess I better get started on that Tucson Road trip......oh wait...I got an idea....
The Arizona wine growers are having a wine festival in Oro Valley.
On February 21, there will be a wine tasting event at the Steam Pump Ranch (on Oracle Road) in Oro Valley featuring many Southern Arizona wineries.
We can do some road time too...the top of Mt. Lemon....Tubac.....Sonoita.
I never planned to have the car done before March; this just gives me an excuse for not getting it done. Every day I'm a little bit closer.

Thanks for volunteering RicK and Kelly. Nothing going on in Feb either. As long as you can get the weather to agree Feb is fine too. Get to work!

I don't remember the drive up to Mt Lemon being very pleasurable , very slow. But that was 40 years ago. A good ride would be between Maricopa (Ralphie's back yard) and Gila Bend for lunch. Lots of fast curves and wide turns. Goes by Mobile. Dan, please map it for us.

That ride is Dead Cow Raod. I have made it many time, it's a blast. My company has a plant in beautiful Gila Bend.
The only good place to eat is a little Mexican place, I can't remember the name, there are only eight buildings in Gila Bend so it's easy to find.

I took that road once about 15 years ago and there where dead cows everywhere.
What's the story with that road.

Bad drivers, but free steaks if your timing is good.

That's funny, I forgot about all the dead bloated cows lying on their backs with their feet up in the air on the side of the road. We used to take that road on the way to Rocky Point. I think it's 260 or 240 ? A cobra might go under a tall cow **):JEKYLHYDE:JEKYLHYDE:JEKYLHYDE**)

It's 238. Take 347 to Maricopa and turn right on 238, it's straight for miles, then nice and curvy. I haven't seen any cows in a while, alive or dead.
