Charlie Sullens, at Brown's Classic Autos knows his stuff. Brown's office is 480-998-4300. They are located real close to West World, right off the 101. Jeff Classic is also very highly skilled and doesn't have nearly the overhead. 602-402-8504. Don't know specifically where Jeff is, but he's on the North side. I would trust either one to do a great job for you.

John, I have to ask, why don't you do this yourself? Adjusting lifters requires no special tools and, if you adjust them cold, you can take as long as you like on each one until you get it just right. It's almost impossible to do them wrong and you don't have to do all 16 at the same time. Personally, I think I gap my valves better than anyone on the planet because I really take my time doing each one, and I check each three times. Most mechanics are just going to set them and go (which is probably just as good, frankly). This is something you can easily do -- there are even YouTube videos that will show you how if you need a little nudge. Go ahead, try it... you'll like it.
