Anyone have a trailer to rent? To early to talk about Huntington Beach?

Thinking of heading to HB for the cruse in. Anyone in Tucson have a trailer they would like to rent? Don't think I want to drive the roadster all the way there....will still be shaking it out.

It's never too early to talk about HB.

Sorry, I don't have a trailer to rent.

Go over to the FFR forum. They have several guys that usually show up. They'd know if a trailer was available.

are people in Arizona driving their cars? anyone going?

Karl Bebout 02-16-2015 05:32 PM

I plan on driving this year.

The Arizona gang Drive. Hop in and go.

My first breakdown drive was to Las Vegas.

Go for it. My guess is that there will be a number of the gang going there. You will be in good company.

When is your event?
As long as it's before May I have a trailer in Phx you are welcome to use.
May - September my trailer and Cobra will both be stored in cool country, like Mikie.:D

karl, Where are you staying when you go over?

Fast289 02-16-2015 08:19 PM

I am trailering Carmen over. Would have gone last year, but I blew a head gasket a couple days before the event.

I don't think I can fit two cars in my trailer. I will check though.

U-Haul trailers work great, used them several times.

The adventure is in the drive. I have gone to Cobra events at Knottsberry Farm for years. Rode once and trailered once. The excitement is in the drive there as a group. Ride home is always long and boring.

What are the dates for HB. I recall one route was to San Diego and then drive up the coast to HB connecting with other Cobra's on the way.

LuckyWinner 02-17-2015 08:45 AM

April 25th. Just checked with U-Haul.....$55 a day for a trailer???? wow. Maybe I will just drive it and hook up with all the Arizona roadsters heading to HB

Karl Bebout 02-17-2015 09:03 AM

Danr, I have a room at the Best Western Regency, Huntington Beach. 19360 Beach Boulevard
Huntington Beach , California 92648-2502 United States
Phone: 714/962-4244 Fax: 714/963-4724

Mesa Mike has his reservation there but I don't know about Hector, Dave, and Bill. (never do know about them)
Got it on line for $94+/night. We stayed there last year and it was clean and just fine. The breakfast was weak, but no biggy. They did complain about this one PimpHoGold Cobra's noise but I don't think it'll be there this time. Seems like it is only about 5 miles from the show site.

We are interested in going to HB. I would likely tow it and then extend the stay to drive north on route 1.

My trailer only fits one car. Almost two, we could leave the back door open.....
