Getting it while I can.

Get your minds out of the gutter.

Put about 75 miles on the Cobra the past 2 days. Tomorrow will be about 100 miles. Just went and got it registered today. Tomorrow I will get it inspected.

Is. That with or without the snow plow attachment?

greg keller 03-10-2015 02:03 PM

Good for you. Vicki and I were talking about getting the car out, temps almost in the 70's in central Idaho. Cobra weather!

mikiec 03-10-2015 03:58 PM

Dan, no plow.

Greg, It is not that warm here. Upper 30's to lower 40's.

Sadly more snow this weekend.

Mike.

Mike,

Started mine up last weekend and ran it for a little. Too much snow in the way to get it out. Hoping for possibly this coming weekend if the weather cooperates. Enjoy it while you can.

Heat wave here today. 51 degrees. Yeah I know, Phoenix will hit about 90. Just got back for a ride. The car is officially filthy. Melting snow = wet roads.

Back in the garage as this weekend will bring in more snow.

Karl Bebout 03-11-2015 06:57 PM

That melted snow is undoubtedly a very heavy salt brine.

mikiec 03-11-2015 08:16 PM

Yes, Car has been thoroughly washed. Top to bottom and underside.

My mind IS in the gutter. Poor Ginny.
Congrats on the ride.

mikiec 03-11-2015 09:43 PM

Karl, I really had no choice today. I only have 10 days to get it inspected after being registered. That happened a few days ago. The next good driving day is about 2 weeks away.

Dave, the ride was great. The cleanup was a pain.

cycleguy55 03-11-2015 09:48 PM

We're having an early spring, especially compared to the last two. Lots of melting going on, and weekend highs are forecast to be around 10°C/50°F - perhaps warmer.

Alas, the Cobra is currently lacking both a gas tank and a battery, and it's unlikely those issues are going to be resolved until next week at the earliest. I can console myself by using the time productively and working my way through the to-do list.
