There are a couple of cars the police would have impounded and seized here. Especially with them doing it on a highway. Here just squeaking a tire is written up as a speed exhibition with fines of from $300 to over $800 depending on your driving record. And if you do a burn out they will take the car along with your drivers license. California, at least this area has become very un-car friendly. We have so many meth labs and dopers around here it is impossible to not see them but they would rather harass the car owners.
