Friday 9-11 early breakfast run

Anyone want to do a early breakfast run Friday 9-11-15?
Maybe Yarnell Hill or something in a cooler area?
Maybe even Jeff C. can make it being his car is FINALLY running.:):):)

Dan, sorry I didn't give you warning last night when I punched my GT500 but when I pulled up next to your cobra I could hear your engine was up around 3000rpm like your were expecting something. I was in 3rd gear which meant I was good up to 101mph so no problem. Where did you go to? Couldn't see you next to me anymore?
AZ Bob

DWRAT 09-06-2015 08:53 PM

LOL
I didn't think you were going to play.

Yes I was cruising in second around 3K RPMs when you passed me.
You were 2 cars ahead of me and I heard you punch it for about 4-5 seconds.
Unfortunately for you in that 4-5 second run I reeled you into 1 car and you let out.

It was fun.

BTW, your car sounds like a big air pump, not loud, more of a hiss like sound.

Am I hearing a track challenge, a spirited competition where there are no excuses or whining, a true test of automotive skill and power, a truly documented duel on the asphalt complete with John Force take offs?

You haven't heard the rules yet.

DWRAT 09-07-2015 10:22 AM

Rule #1 no NOS.

Danr55 09-07-2015 10:55 AM

Rules? We don't need no stinking rules.. Let's do it Saturday 9/12 early.. up to Payson or up to Clint's Well.

Car Nut 09-07-2015 11:37 AM

Original equipment tires for the specific vehicles. Reproduction vehicles shall match the specifications of the copied vehicle when they originally produced.

DWRAT 09-07-2015 12:13 PM

My tires are OEM size so that's close enough in my book of rules.
Maybe your little cute motor mustang can join the fun, I can spot you 2 car lengths.:p

Danr55 09-07-2015 01:52 PM

"I can spot you two carlengths.." Be careful what you ask for..

No No, not in 1966, the size would be equal to a 2.25-70-15 and that would be a bias ply Bucko.

Oh sorry, I looked it up 185 and the front and 195 on the back, ummmm, skinny. http://auto-specs.zercustoms.com/s/s...fications.html

My car could be fun with those tires, may look a bit funny though.

Skinny tires and your top, would be a photo to frame DWRAT.

I did take my BillBoards off, she might actually go straight for a while, knock on wood.

I can't make it Friday, still in WY. I might be able to come out Saturday, of course a million things will change by then.

Rat Boy, how about racing with one of Car Nut's other vehicles, like this one?

I do like his Falcon for sure.
With a good driver in his Falcon I would have no chance, but with Carnut in the drivers seat, that could be a different story.:LOL::LOL:
