"Wounded Warriors" connotates what should be such a great charity but actually, the administration charges are pretty outlandish.

I'm not sure but this seems to not be "The Wounded Warrior Project" but something called "The Wounded Warrior Support Group". I think there is a difference. Maybe someone associated with it can clarify.
On the other hand, if you just view it as a sweepstakes with a chance to win a Cobra...

Have to agree with Karl, this charity is now "suspect" due to high administration expenditures. I will no longer donate to them, which is so very sad.

I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder if the guy that donated his cars knows what the % is of administrative costs.

There is some conclusion jumping going on here. All indications are that there are two separate organizations here. That's not to say that this organizations overhead ratio shouldn't be questioned but their web site shows no connection to the Wounded Warrior Project

If they have nothing to hide then they should post on this site, what the break down is for every dollar is and where it goes.

Ask them. But don't confuse them with someone else.

Why on earth would anyone name their organization so close to the name of one with such a spotty record? If they did it before all the bad press, were they trying to sponge off the other's success?
Yes, I can be pessimistic.

"This charity gives 86% to the program. The CEO's pay is a little high at $100,000.00 per year."
Really good to hear!

That's an underpaid ceo these days. College grad engineers are getting that much.

I looked around for their latest raffle and boy did a google search turn up an earful! Yes, this is not the same as the Wounded Warrior Project (which had a somewhat high overhead). It's worse. It had a 100% overhead. Yes, they had raffles, but it was basically a family get rich quick scam. This is but one of the search results:

You should do a search of the owners and principals of "Dream Giveaway" raffles
