And for the record Jamie drove more miles than I did. She had so much fun. I did too but damn my back hurts. Getting x-rays in the morning. Best we got was 15.5 mpg. Thank you guys so much for a great weekend. What an awesome bunch of guys. Mike and Jamie |
I had an absolute blast driving from Morenci to Hannigan Meadow, got to drive as fast as I wanted to not knowing what the limits of my Barkalounger were. Fortunately I didn't find out. In my own defense, Karl knows full well I was trying to take the drag off the back of his car, I'm sure that's where the extra 5 mph came from.
All in all a good trip, no car breakdowns or car accidents. Hope you heal up soon Mike. Seemed like everyone just scattered after breakfast in Show Low so I just follow the only cars left after getting gas. Posted some pics on the Facebook page, can't seem to post them here. |
Thanks Bob for thinking of Gary and Vikki with Credence and Eagles. Next year for sure or sooner is better. Glad no breakdowns.

Great trip, car ran great. Ran into heavy rain from Payson to Fountain Hills but had fun anyway. Hope Mike heals up OK- Jamie really knows how to body check! Glad everyone made it home safely.

Bruce, you left us after breakfast. We waited for you at the gas station on the corner of 60 and 260 but you never came so we went on down the Salt River Canyon. We didn't know your plans to travel with Paul.
