Planning on it... I have a pass from the CEO.

Only thing that could foo-bar my attendance would be if my work pager goes off (as always)

Robert McLinden 04-15-2017 10:05 AM

Turn it off, always worked for me.

Karl Bebout 04-19-2017 02:17 PM

Itsa comin', this Saturday, 10am-2pm-ish.

I'll bring a cooler of ice, in addition to the other goodies I'd mentioned previously.

Scotchman 04-19-2017 07:36 PM

Robert,
Have your CEO call my CEO and get me out of this birthday party for my 2 year old grandson. I told my wife, "birthday parties for 2 year olds are for Moms and kids". She disagrees, and so does my daughter. Who put women in charge ? Is your CEO a woman ? :JEKYLHYDE**):JEKYLHYDE**):JEKYLHYDE

Scotty sounds like time for a board of directors meeting and a change at the CEO level. I wish someone would call a meeting for my organization!

That won't work. As soon as your CEO tells my CEO what she has you doing (and then mentions Danr's CEO in the conversation), my CEO will come away from the meeting thinking that our firm is behind the times, and the next thing you know, there will be a huge re-org, and I'll have all new responsibilities and corporate objectives all lined out for me... (and there will probably be a big Powerpoint presentation to go along with it) ... No thanks.

**)**)**)**)

Besides, I'm still only a 50/50 for Saturday, myself. Work has been overly abundant lately, and the week is sliding away fast...

Danr55 04-20-2017 08:51 AM

A board meeting would likely wind up with demotions all around for everyone below the CEO level (us) so better we just continue to do as we are told and shut up.

Ride? I thought you wanted to drive. What happened?

Karl Bebout 04-20-2017 12:52 PM

I just had to take a ride this fine morning, so I went out to the marina for a little jaunt. Everything looks good. Bush Hwy, from Usury Pass is single lane, each way, most of the way to the marina rd. and Gilbert rd, south of the Beeline is also one lane, each way, due to construction. Neither should be much of an issue.

MKS427 04-20-2017 06:23 PM

Power outlets?

Do they have power at the site? I am considering bringing a crock pot.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 04-20-2017 06:31 PM

No power. We won't be there long enough for a crock pot. Maybe a pressure cooker.

AZ Bob LOL, I'll be here all week

Phx Mike 04-20-2017 08:10 PM

Have fun guys and will see you when I get back from APAC!

LRRCobradreamer 04-20-2017 10:44 PM

I forgot where I got my pass last year, could it have been at the Shell station at 87 and Shea Boulevard?

RedSnake351 04-21-2017 11:19 PM

Never mind, I googled it and there are hundreds of places, Circle K being one of them and I think that the Shell station maybe at Circle K?

CobraFan460 04-22-2017 01:42 AM

I hope you guys/gals have fun...I will be sleeping.

Someone please post pics of what I miss!

It's a small world after all,.....

Karl Bebout 04-22-2017 02:45 PM

"It's a small world after all"

And it'll take three months to get that song out of your head.
