Himicane and Hurricane
I checked with Gary and Vikki Stubbs this morning. Seems the eye of the hurricane went right through their hotel room.. They did survive, however. Gary's description of the scene: " It looks like a war zone". At least they can't say the vacation has been boring..

Sounds like they survived without major damage --- to themselves. Glad to hear they are ok, now all they need to do is catch a plane home, probably not going to be easy to do that with all the damage to the island.

According to her posting on Facebook, Vikki is looking for someplace to volunteer until they can catch a ride home.

It is good to hear that they are OK. From what I have seen there are two more storms coming along close to the same path but not as big as the first one.
