I received the following note from Peter Volny regarding the upcoming Fountain Hills Car Show. We certainly had an excellent turnout last year and before committing to Peter, what's the general feeling about an en-mass attendance again this year? Its a bit pricey but is certainly a good cause. ALL the entry money, this time, goes to the Phoenix Children's Hospital. Peter and his volunteers do not require any "administrative fees", unlike so many other "charitable" organizations.
"The 2018 Concours in the Hills is scheduled for Saturday February 10 from 10AM - 3PM. The 2017 show attracted 647 cars, 71 sponsors, over 15,000 spectators and, best of all, raised over $90,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs.*Thanks to two entrances and exits combined with a greatly simplified entry procedure, there were no delays getting in or out.*Thank you to all who participated.
For 2018 we are expanding the display area again to eliminate the crowding. We will also improve our layout, signage and have more volunteers to get you parked easily. We will also have more food trucks and more washroom facilities.
Once again we are asking for your support in advising your members of the event and your permission to include you as an official supporter. There is no cost to your club for this. Individual vehicles entries are a minimum $60 donation to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Any club that has more than ten cars registered can put up a 10 X 10 tent or just a table to recruit new members.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss your club’s participation please contact me.

I will be speaking to Peter in the next week to establish a general parking area idea.
