rte 66 next year
Because of the issues with the current lodging, I went and looked at the Hill Top Motel tonight. It is still closed for renovations. The place looked like it will meet our needs.
I have no idea of the cost or when it will reopen. Someone will need to find out when they will open and check with them. There are others. Some one should take a ride up and see what they can find and make arrangements. The sooner the better. Mikiec |

In Dec. of '16, I'd contacted Karinna, at the Kingman Comfort Inn and she was very receptive to having our group and even contacted the owners to get permission about lowering the rate to match Red Roof. I don't remember if too many people had already made their reservations, or of there was too much resistance to making a change, but I didn't pursue it further. I tried to notice their parking arrangements and I'm thinking it was OK. I'll drop her a note to
a. see if she's still there and b. to see if she is still amenable to the arrangement. Anyone know if the run is going to be the first weekend in May? Its not on the net. |
