AZ Cobras 19th Anniversary Party

Arizona Cobras’ 19th Anniversary Party will be Saturday, December 7th 10am to 2pm at Ron & Pam Evans Classic Cars & Signs Shop, 14201 N Hayden Road, Suite B-2, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. We have the “GO” permission from Ron and Pam PLUS our Hosts have offered once again to invite their favorite Taco Truck on them so the only things to bring are snacks, desserts, drinks, chair and your “White Elephant” gift with an expense limit of $20.
PHX Mike Madsen is close to determining our charity for this year and I have asked Paul Gillespie to do his magic again for the promotional flyer.
Save the day!

Looking forward to seeing everyone again. I will just have to hide Pam’s cobra sign she took from Danr last year at the white elephant exchange :]

Hope to see some Tucson group join us if they can

Happy trails and keep it on the black stuff between the trees
Ron

You better hide it way far away!

Folks just an update here - I am working with the Phoenix Children’s Hospital folks to finalize our charity event for this year. I have a meeting with them on Wednesday to determine what they most want/need. I am going to see if they can take toys or other small gifts instead of the wagons. Will post details as soon as we have it ironed out.

Mike,
I've been doing PCH every year at my office and they love toys and games. Just not stuffed animals, as they can't disinfect them. Just hard to arrange a drop off time when there aren't just a bunch of volunteers running around helping others. Hopefully you can arrange a time when some kids can come out and we can make it a big deal.

I told them we would like a scheduled drop off on 12/14 so we can do a presentation and show the cars to the kids and staff. Hopefully can get that arranged. I will advise after the call Wednesday.

Thanks for working on this. Paul will include what we need to know on his annual party flyer when it is nailed down.

Mike,
My better half, Sandi, works with Brook at the Foundation. Let us know if we can be of help.

Phx Mike 08-30-2019 10:45 AM

Thanks Scotty - I am in contact with Steve Schnall who runs the foundation and his team.

Steve is a great guy. He was my boss for almost 10 years when he was in charge of the PCH outpatient clinic. I have worked some wit him and the foundation , a very worth cause. Looking forward to seeing everyone again

I have the info for our donation and will get the details posted tomorrow. We will be collecting Toys and Gift Cards for toddlers and teenagers (this is what they most need). Our donation dropoff date will be 14-December and the PCH folks are thrilled to have our support this year.
