Charity Cobra for sale at Scottsdale 2020

Pam and I are excited to help raise money for TGen cancer research by donating to the auction a brand new Black Superformance with a new crate coyote and TKO 600. We will also have a matching Cobra go kart made by McLaren Restorations that sold one last year at the auction. Kudos to Lance and his team for working with us on the purchase of the roller for a great cause. Before everyone throws arrows about it being a new coyote vs a big block, remember it will start up first try and not have to wait to get it running in the wintertime :)

See you all at the xmas party in December

That's awesome!

Nice Ron - this is great.

My FE 427 has never had an issue starting first time, anytime. Non ethanol 93 octane with just a touch of 105 Sunoco.
Good luck with your auction, hopefully your lot is on a Saturday late afternoon or evening as these lots tend to do best.

That’s great. For the record I have a roush 511 big block in my CSX but I know some of the purists always want a traditional BB.

I have been told it will either be Friday or sat night

Craig Jackson (Barrett-Jackson) is a major contributor to Tgen. They have had charity auctions with proceeds to Tgen.

Edit: Old memory cells. In 2013 Craig donated a car to T-Gen. In fact that car was originally mine. I sold it to a guy in Florida and he sold it at BJ. Elle Chesney bought it and gave it to Craig to auction for the charity. It was a Shelby GT Barrett Jackson edition. Rick Hendrick bought it and I recall Craig saying it was the first Ford he'd ever sold to Rick. I had two - this was the automatic. The 5-speed car was donated to the Shelby Foundation in 2009. So both of the cars went to charity events.

Proud of you and Pam on your success and your generosity. It's fun to brag about knowing you, specially during Barrett-Jackson. Hope your 63 split window resto-mod is home for your party.

It may be consigned to sell. I love the car but I am closer to existing healthcare and preparing for the second chapter of my life and hope to start a Classic car shop once I do.

I won’t ever have it in me to retire.( although I am jealous of those of you that can!)

Starting with 8 cars going to auction to see if I can start towards making this a business as well as indulging my passion for cars. I rented extra space, set up a commercial lift to swap a couple of motors so watch out for an Eleanor or 2 in January with a 750 hp coyote whipple combo!
