Jim and I will be meeting at Fry's gas station, East of I-17 and Dove Valley, for 9:40 departure. I-17 North to Camp Verde to Payson Airport for lunch. Return through Fountain Hills, hopefully before rush hour.

Since none of the East side guys expressed interest and are going to Payson on Sunday, Jim and I are changing it up. We are leaving Frys gas station 8AM and will arrive in Prescott around 10 for breakfast. We are open ended for the return. If you would like to ride back down (through Jerome or Yarnell Hill TBD) with us you are welcome to.

Nice run today. Mark, Jim and I met Steve, Betty, and Mike. Turns out the BackDraft was Betty's !
Ate at Zeke's in Prescott. Damn good food. |
Steve & Betty, Mike, Jim, and I went on to Jerome. Mike turned off right before the twisties to go home. Steve and Betty followed part way and doubled back home.
The food at Zeke's was fantastic. Steve and Betty recommended the pot roast and meatloaf. The pot roast is made fresh everyday. Zeke's closes at 2 PM, but serves breakfast all day. |
