Visiting Phoenix

I’ll be in Phoenix Thu-Sat, but in our Mazda. Anyone going to the cars and coffee this Sat, in Scottsdale, on Chauncey Ln? Or, another C&C event? I would enjoy meeting up.

Welcome to the PHX area. Christmas visit for grandkids? That C&C is in front of and sponsored by the Penske Museum https://www.facebook.com/PenskeRacingMuseum/. In the spring & fall some of us attend but summer and winter less so. Museum is great visit and free during event. They have always also had a food truck or two. As a group, we have met there on occasion but not recently. They had free coffee. Don't know if the event is still running. Too many other family events this weekend.
May be a nice day Saturday.

I don’t care for a section of the 101 Loop, on the west side. The joints in the road surface cause a noise that sounds just like a tire shredding its tread. Two different trips to PHX, I’ve pulled off the hwy to check my tires.

The 101 is being repaved all over the valley. It’s 100 times worse than you remember.
