The Texas Cobra Club Spring gathering was canceled and has been rescheduled to October 7-11. I'm planning on driving to San Marcos TX to join the frolicing. The meet has grown and, as I understand it, rivals the London Ohio meet. I'll be avoiding freeways by going through NM and figure it'll be a nice leisurely three day trip of 350+-miles a day.
I WANNA DRIVE!
Anyone interested?

If things work out I just might join you Karl. A little to far in the future for a iron clad commitment but It sounds like fun.

Karl: If you do go to San Marcos (nice town btw) Check to see if my old 289 is in the crowd. It's supposed to be in Texas somewhere and the state isn't that big :). If its there say hello and tell the owner to contact me if he want's history on the Car. You can tell mine by the center console. I'd received a note from the Texas group with the super secret, ultra classified code to use for registering for the October Texas Cobra Bash in San Marcos, Oct 7th-Oct 11th. I'm all registered now for the meet and the dinner that Saturday night.
Certainly hope there's no cancellation this time. Its my understanding that the Motel rates are being negotiated and I'll book a room later.

Hotel booking is open. Go to the TCC website for info. The codes were for folks that had registered for the Spring Meet only.
