Cobras –

Reminder that our charity dropoff is this Saturday at 1:00 at Treasure House.

Treasure House is a unique active living community for young adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities.

They are looking for Gift Cards for the following establishments:

Amazon
Walmart
Sam’s/Costo
Fry’s
Albertson’s
QT for gas for our 4 vehicles
Car Washes for our 4 vehicles
Fired Pie
Lou Malnati’s--- pizza
Panda Express
In and Out Burger
Starbucks
Dutch Bros
Dairy Queen
Popeye’s
FireHouse Subs

If you brought your donation to the holiday party, then Bob has it and we will bring it on Saturday. If you did not, please bring it with you on Saturday

Logistics:

We will meet at Kneaders Bakery at 75th Avenue just north of the 101 at 12:00 PM. Pit stop, gas-up, talk….then we will caravan over to Treasure House together at 12:50

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came out to the Treasure House today for our donation drop off, and to everyone who donated. We had a great turnout with 9 Cobras and a Mustang and a Porsche! Don’t ask me how that last one snuck in.

Turned out to be a great day for a bunch of noisy old cobra drivers. We got a great welcome from employees, occupants and Laurie, the boss. Here's a couple of worker's smiling photos plus a parking lot video. Thanks so much to Mike Madsen for organizing this. I might just think we need a new Charity Chairman next year, maybe for the Marines again Toys for Tots? Anyone got a connection?

Team - I received a nice note from Lauri Tanner below regarding our charity donation and drop-off a few weeks ago

All totaled we collected $890.00 in gift cards and $30.00 in cash plus a $1k cash donation that Jami and I made bringing our total Az Cobras donation to $1920.00

As you can see Lauri and team were very grateful and as she notes, our visit and being able to sit in Bob’s Cobra was the highlight of the entire Christmas season for Dylan.

It is easy for us to forget how blessed we are.
