Trans Repair Shop
I have a T5 (that I'm seriously thinking about replacing with the TKX or T-56 but that's a subject is for another post) that grinds trying to get into reverse ONLY when the trans is hot. And now sometimes into 5th. Again, not all of the time.
I've replaced the slave and master clutch cylinders, tried adjusting the clutch stop, all to no avail. Any thoughts to the problem? Car is in Scottsdale. Any shops you can recommend that would be familiar with getting inside the trans and seeing what the problem is? Thanks for any input! |
Trans Repair
It's possible this has been caused by an alignment issue with your bellhousing and crankshaft. Suggest you insure that your engine crankshaft is properly aligned with the bellhousing register hole. There are numerous YouTube videos that show how this is done.
