AZ Cobras do SAAC
Met up with Hersh and Paula in Vegas for the SAAC weekend. Hersh wimped out and did not take his Cobra. However, Ginny and I drove ours.
The trip was not with out it's share of problems. As we left the house I turned the wrong way on the hi-way. Ginny laffed and said I got lost. Actually I was taking the scenic tour. About 5 miles down the road we had a problem with the electrical system. Drove home and found that the electric choke was shorting to ground. Disconnected choke and was on our way. The 300 mile drive was uneventful and a little bit chilly. The only problem encountered in Vegas was after the SAAC event we went to the freemont experience and parked the car in the garage. I said to Ginny we should cover the car...she said it would be OK. About 4 hours later we returned to find that someone had thrown a cherry coke all over it. Took about half an hour to clean it up before driveing back to our hotel. Lesson learned. now preparing for the trip to California in April. Mike P.S. Ginny said I can get new seats. |

Hey Mike, sorry to hear about the cherry coke problem. Now I know that I'll ask for a car cover on Father's Day in June. That will be just in time for our trip to DVII. John

Yes. get the cover. I use it most of the time....However, we have left the car uncovered at the malls while we go shopping. No more. Hersh had some Arizona Cobras windshield stickers made up. I'll be putting mine on today. I have lots more.... Ben, What was surprising was my reaction to the incident. Just went into the trunk, got the cleaning supplies out and went to work. On the trip back....Ginny fell asleep in the cobra while I was putting along at 80MPH. Mike |
Jealous person or kid. Darn shame. Good thing it cleaned up!
I pity the person I find screwing with my car. I would have to use their head to clean up the mess. |
