We got home from our 550 mile weekend about 5:30 tonight. Nice, nice driving weather. The temps had warmed up a bit from the initial forecasts. We had only three cars show up, Mesa Mike and Lorraine, Jim Cook with Jan as a passenger, and my sweetness and I. Several people had bailed earlier but others who said they were coming just didn't show. We even waited 10 minutes past lift off Saturday and no bodies...Their loss. The drive down I10 Saturday morning was the only less-fun part but we made up for it with lots of two lane blacktop cruising. This was the first time in the 30 years I've owned a Cobra that my sweetness went on an extended trip with me and I'm hoping I can convince her to do more.
