Some ideas...

Some ideas that have been passed on to me.

Pavillions March 2nd.

March 13th... wed. Drag racing at Speedworld in the north west valley. This is a test and tune night. Street tires only.

Picnic at Rooseveldt(sp) lake ....
This seems like a fun time as the road to get there is very twisty.
Proposed date April 6th. We need to do this before it gets to hot out.

I'm checking out some shops host our next meeting. I have a couple of places to look at this week.

Roosevelt Lake sounds doable for me, although the water might still be a bit cold in April.

Mike, Picnic on Saturday, April 6th. Is this a good date right now ? If so I will notify the Tucson gang members and see who we can get up there. What facilities are there ? What do we need to bring ? Besides the food I mean, do we need to bring cooking grills ? This sounds great. John

John,

I the 6th is a firm date. I do not know what the facilities are. I need to drive out there or hopefully Scott Coyle will see this and chime in. It was his idea.

I'll make it out there in another 2 weeks. Car is on jack stands right now. Yearly maintenance and waiting for the Carb to come back from Holley.

Pavillions parking

Note on the Pavillions. I went last Saturday. Got there right at 5:00 PM. The place was jammed and I ended up parking for a while in the lane between two rows of parking spots. Several other Snakes were in attendance but scattered throughout the parking lot. Lesson learned was that apparently if we want to get a group of slots together, we need to be there before 4:00 or maybe even 3:30.

When I arrived, there was only one parking spot left, right in the middle of the local Ferrari club. I thought about it but decided not to poke the kitty. :3DSMILE:

Chopper..

You should have poked the kitty. Last year we had a gathering of 15 cobras there together on Ferrari night. Some of the Farrair's parked by us until Craig Jackson brought out his original street 427. They soon moved.

Mike

Yes, I agree we need to get there early.

What's the plan for Saturday?

I should be in town and am itching for a ride.

Will there be a meeting time for the west side? How about the new IN-n-Out Burger at the Tatum Crossroads (Tatum & 101)?

Jeff
