B & R Automotive did a great job. Took about 2 hours. 7am to 9am. Turns out I knew the guy, Dave, that worked on my carb! He has a gorgeous 55 Chevy Nomad with a big block. He won his category at PIR Winter Heat the same time I won mine. Great Speed Shop. Old, but clean and neat. Nice people. great cars. Total $115. Results were: raise front jet back to 85. Replaced power valve back to 6.5. Check timing and fuel curve. Reset idle screws about 3/4 turn out. Engine running great. Starts easier. No hesitation from idle to WOT. Pulls to limiter. Bob |
