Hello to all of the Arizona Cobra guys, the Tucson guys are getting together this Saturday evening, June 29th, about 5:30PM for hot dogs / hamburgers, etc. This will be at my house at 4040 N. Camino Arco. On Sunday we are going to meet for coffee and donuts / bagels on the southwest corner on Oracle and Ina between 7:30AM and 8:00AM. John, thanks for the invite but working Sat and Sun. My oldest son is starting Law School at U of A in August. Got his Apt rented and furnished at Star Pass. Will move him in Aug 3rd. Maybe I'll visit Tucson more for the next 3 years.

How did the party go? How many showed? Have you gotten your car back yet?

Mike, I hope that you received my email with the list and email address's of the Tucson Cobra guys. It was a nice party with eight guys and wives/girlfriends plus seven others who are interested in our cars, 25 in all. Even the UPS guy and his wife came by ! Two new builders , FFR, showed up and got to meet and chat with everyone else. The wives had a good time renewing and meeting new wives. There were three Cobras in the driveway - the other guys felt that a mere 105 degrees was a bit much. All in all, the beer and brats flowed endlessly for four hours. On Sunday morning we had five Cobras show up for coffee and donuts on the northwest side of the city. Another new FFR builder and wife, were able to attend and see the car , Mike Foss's, which they are building. Two other possible builders showed up and a good time was had by all. No, I do not have my car. I will be leaving for Michigan and Kentucky in a week and be gone for three weeks. If Gordon doesn't have it finished when I leave he'll have to keep it until I get back home in August. I must have missed the info about your car, why is it on jacks? Mike, I was just informed about Mike Foss's wife, Janet. Please see the other thread. John

My car is on jacks for some normal maintenance and the addition of the Autowelds.

After that I tackle the wipers to get them to park on the correct side.

Then remove the carpet and add some addtional aluminum to the floors.

Then install the new shift light.

Then off to the Dyno tuner to find some more HP.

I figure the way I work should be done by Christmas....:3DSMILE:
