Memorial for Janet
Just a quick reminder. We are having a memorial ceremony for my wife Janet at the Saddlebrooke Countryclub(same place we were married) on Aug 10th at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the John Staffen(her 12 yr old nephew) MD fund, Bank One, 7175 N Thornydale Rd, Tucson AZ 85741.
Afterward my sister is holding a gettogether at her house in Saddlebrooke. |

Ginny and I are very sorry that we will not be able to attend. We were looking forward to the services. However, Ginny is having surgery today. Hersh has something to read from us at the memorial. Bob, I'm glad to see you are going to make it. Paul and Betsy will be going down as will Hersh and Paula. See you soon..... Mike |

Hey Mikec, we missed you and Ginny on Saturday at Janet's Memorial. Aida and I wish Ginny a quick and painless recovery. We hope to see both of you at one of the "Runs" in Sept. or Oct. When will she be able to drive the Rodster ? Does she drive the Cobra any more ? Janet's Memorial was very nice. Hersh read your letter and added a couple of personal comments. Mike F said that tears were permitted and we really let them flow. It was touching to see so many Phoenix Cobra owners attend. I'll tell 'ya Mike - we got a real special group here. John PS. I was at a gas station and a guy told me about another Cobra here in Tucson, he thought that it was an origional which the guy only drove up and down the street. I'm looking for it right now, I'll keep you informed.

Ginny and I really really wanted to be there. She is doing fine. Still a little sore but getting better. She has not driven the cobra since she got the Rodster now called the Hedgehog. I'll be sending out an email about the run to the pines and the Club Sandwich this week. I hope you will be attending one of them. Are you enjoying the car? Mike |
