My baby is coming home soon
If everything goes as planned, my silver bullet will home tomorrow night from the paint shop. My insurance company was real cool and nearly painted the whole car to blend the hood.
With the hood hinge on now....NO MORE ACCIDENTS!!!!! I just need to tune her up and steam the interior and she will be ready for the Run to the Pines. |
It's about time it got back from the shop. Going to make Sat night?? It's lonesome having the only silver car there.

I called the shop and it looks like I will get it by Tuesday. Just to let you guys know the grand total came to $2,200 to replace the hood and blend out the paint. Apparently they had to blend from the front all the way back to the doors. Thank God for insurance!!!!! I droped them shortly after this claim and went with someone else. The body guys says the match looks perfect!!!! He is going to try to adjust the doors better for me. I'll just have to continue to play with my Cobra models until I get the Silver Bullet back. |
