Club Sandwich
The River Palms Resort hosting resort, for the show is sold out of rooms. If you are still planning on going you will need to contact some of the other Casino's/Resorts close by.
For those planning on going up on Friday Ginny(she is taking the Rodster) and I(Cobra) will be leaving from the MacDonalds in Wickenburg at 10am. Mike |

Did it that way last year. Beats the heck out of leaving in the wee hours of Saturday to get there by 8am. Plus most of the entrants arrive on Friday. Mike |

My wife and I have wanted to make this for awhile, we used to go every year to the Laughlin river run{Harleys} I told her not to worry there would be plenty of stuff happening with the Cobra too, haven't made it yet!! I have to work that weekend:(

Mikec, I just called the River Palms this morning, Friday, about 8:30am and made a reservation for the "Club Sandwich " weekend. The other day I tried and was told that they were sold out and that there were no car clubs expected that weekend. Today the woman I spoke with knew all about the event and was a car lover and was looking forward to it. I had no problem at all, the key words seem to be "CLUB SANDWICH". Mike, if I can get this body out of bed by 5 AM on Friday the 11th I will try to meet you in Wickenburg at 10AM. Out room check-in time is 3:00PM, it looks like you'll be in Laughlin about 1:00 ish. Mikec, Thanks for the offer, we'll say no for now. I am planing to drive the Cobra. If you mean Aida when you say "boss" , yes she is coming along - she can't miss an oppurtunity to play the 5 cent machines. We haven't figured out all of the driving details yet and still have a trip back to Toledo and Cincinatti to make. I am trying to generate some interest here in Tucson and get a few cars to drive up together, no luck so far. John

Marilyn & I will be goint to Laughlin Friday afternoon in the 1959 Thunderbird. I'll park with the show cars, don't tell that it is not a kit! I didn't think that selling the Cobra would put me out of two clubs! Sat. night we have a Party in Vegas.
