What do I need to get my car to pass emissions.

It's registered as a 2001 assembled roadster with no cats and smog. It's a 302 carb and can someone please tell me what it would cost do change this over so it will pass emissons. Also by doing this change over will it affect the performance.......Any info would be great....

Have you failed the smog test? If so, what were your numbers.

As mikief says...Have you taken it down for the check?

Was this an Arizona car to begin with...? I assume it's a cobra.

Generally if the make or model is recon then the emmissions inspection standards is that for a 1967 model year. If the car is from out of state then try to get it registered as a 1965. Arizona law lets you register the vehicle by what it represents. IE 34 ford..then 34 ford. 65 ford then 65 etc..
