AZ Cobras 2nd Annual -- 50+ photos
Another great day in Arizona. Sunny. Short sleeves. And lots of Cobras. Oh yeah -- and that GT-40 thing. ;-) Thanks to Hershal for the hospitality and Mikie, Hershal, Ginny and Paula for getting everything organized. Let me know if I left someone out.
Great to see everyone. Lot's of friendly people. LOTS of food. (Hershal, you won't have to cook for a week!). Here are the photos I took today. I'm going to try to post a video I took too. See the photos at clubphoto.com. Just enter my e-mail address in the guest log-in area. (btsai4@cox.net) If you'd like a full resolution of any of these shots, send me a note and I'll be happy to e-mail it directly to you. Enjoy Ben |
Thought of something -- no FIA cars. Would have loved to have seen both of them!

Hey that's not fair. :) I've got it up and running again. I't going to the painters this week.
|
Ohhhhhh.... THAT's the car you guys were talking about yesterday. Scary. Glad it didn't turn out worse!
Ben |
Ben,
Thanks for taking and posting the pics, they came out great. It was good talking with you - hang in there, your day of Cobra ownership is coming! Jeff Can you email me copies of mine at jguisto@fenderusa.com Thanks |
Jeff -- sure! It'll cost you a ride in your car some time... (I should have asked you on Saturday). I'll e-mail you the pics.
Ben |
Ben,
You are welcome any time I find myself in Arizona. Ride ? Nope, you will enjoy the view much better from the driver's seat. Maybe some Saturday we can meet up for lunch. Let's try after the holidays. Jeff |
Very cool, Jeff! You won't have to offer twice. :)
Did the pictures come through on the e-mail okay? You should have gotten 10 photos... Ben |
What happened to the car off the road?
|
We were at a breakfast meeting and the roads were slippery.
Scott had to leave early and he hit some oil mixed with water on a curve and oops...The car started to spin and slowed down enough so when he went over the edge he was doing about 5 MPH. He wiped out the pipes and some small glass damage. He has it repaired and is looking for a painter. Mike |
Glad he and his car are doing well.
|
Looks scary.
|
Jeff...
Yeah it looks scary....Scott said once the car was pulled up back to the road he could heve driven it home. Mike |
