For those going to Knott's on Friday

Get gas at the Texaco Truckstop on the southside of I-10 @ the Paloverde Nuclear Power Plant Exit (EXIT 109 I believe)before the Rest Area so we don't have to stop in Quartzite. We are meeting another car in Blythe, we can get gas there.

mikiec 04-09-2003 11:53 PM

Are you still meeting at the rest area???

Mike

Paul Gillespie 04-10-2003 12:42 AM

Yes still meeting at the rest area, just get gas first.

Just looked up the Knott's weather for this weekend - cloudy with showers high about 60 both days. Just like two years ago.

I over heard you and Bob discussing meeting up to drive out to the rest area. What time and where? I'm trying to see if I can get the morning off, if so I'll meet you guys there.

LA Weather

Just looked up weather forcast on weather.com Shows clear of rain in LA Sat. Rain 40% chance Sunday. Perhaps we should start back early instead of noon Sunday like normal. We can make that call Sun am.
Shows 0% chance of rain Sat high 67 partly cloudy.

Have fun and be sure to have your camera handy for potential "flashers". Don't forget to appreciate and show your support for bikinis!

Tongue Pirate 04-10-2003 07:21 PM

The way things generally go around here they'll change the forcast 6 more times before sunday. You might want to take the wait & see approach. Good Luck!

mikiec 04-10-2003 07:29 PM

Neither rain nor sleet nor....

Real Cobra drivers do it in the rain....
