I'M LOOKING AT THE BACKDRAFT ROADSTER BUT I AM TRYING TO PRICE OUT ENGINE AND TRANS. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT PRICE I COULD GET FOR A 351 W STROKED TO A 392 OR 427 MAKING 500 HP AND THE TRANS TO HANDLE IT? WITH ALL THE NECESSITIES I.E. WATER PUMP,CARB,ALTERNATOR...

Hey Doc, you don't need to start a new thread evrytime. Just open the first thread you started and then you and anyone else can post a reply on that thread by clicking the POST REPLY button in the lower right corner.

Hello. My name is Robert and I am the owner of Hi-Per Rods offering Backdrafts in the Texas region.

I would be happy to provide you with a spread sheet to help you price out the completion of your car. My prices are equivelent to and sometimes better than Summit and Jegs and I can advise you on every bolt and washer this car will need.

Email me so we can narrow down your motor choice. That choice will effect most other choices.(tranny, clutch...) I offer Ford crate motors as well as custom strokers and have a couple in stock.
